Aico, the European leader in home life safety, has been named the Net Zero Carbon Business Champion by the Building Leadership Council (CLC). As one of the first 14 companies across the UK construction supply chain to join the initiative, Aico has committed to supporting the industry change program in the sector, CO2nstruct Zero, to address the climate emergency. The CLC Business Champions Initiative provides Aico with the opportunity to demonstrate its commitment to reducing carbon emissions throughout its business operations. As part of the initiative, Aico will be required to provide evidence of how their plans align with the nine CO2nstruct Zero priorities, contribute to the CO2nstruct Zero reporting process and support other companies in the industry to develop net-zero plans.
