It’s appetizer season! In my opinion, the best appetizers are fun to eat, easy to prepare, and look great. Blooming Burrito Ring is not only a great appetizer, it is also a fun meal for the family. It’s very entertaining and insanely easy! Everyone will be dazzled by the display of its flowering ring of this cheese-making chicken comfort burrito. An alternative fun way on Taco Tuesdays. Always a big hit! Blooming Burrito Range Anyone who knows my daughter knows she’s a total lollipop for beans and cheese. I think it might have been one of the first foods she fed herself as a little girl. It’s so funny! Well when I bring this burrito ring, the first one is ready to dive in. Oh, did I mention that she is picky about food? It’s impossible not to like this fun recipe. Stuffed with sticky melted cheese between layers of delicious chicken and cheese burrito. As many of you may have already watched on TikTok or Facebook, my video for this recipe went viral because, as most people have said, “This looks delicious!” Here’s the video tutorial for this Burrito Ring recipe: smartschoolhouseBlooming Burrito Ring !!! 10 tortillas, wrapped with marinated chicken, beans + cheese, topped with Quesadilla cheese, baked at 350 for 20 minutes ## Big Day Day – Alex Arias & Alexander Julius Wright Just look at that cheese! There’s a little trick to getting the chewy cheese effect between layers of the burrito. All in the type of cheese you use! First things first, you’ll need grated chicken. Season the grated chicken with a packet of taco seasoning powder. This is, of course, optional. However, even an eclectic eater doesn’t mind it. While the chicken is cooking, heat up 1 can (or 2) of fried beans. While the beans and chicken are cooking, cut a box of 10 soft taco tortillas in half. I usually cut about 3 at a time. I recommend using a cutting board for this process as well as for burrito rolling. The cutting board makes it easy to transfer the flowered burrito to the baking dish (and it makes cleaning even easier!). A Blooming Burrito Ring As shown in the TikTok video above, add a spoonful of beans, a scoop of chicken, and some grated cheese on each half of the tortilla. For this, I use a mix of Mexican cheese. However, any grated cheese you want in your burrito will work with this portion. Get a good old pie plate, prepare it with a non-stick spray, place a small dipping bowl in the center, and arrange 12 burrito rolls around the plate. Next, top it with special cheese … oh yeah … grated Quesadilla cheese! Using the remaining 8 tortilla halves, make more bundles of burrito. To grasp and preheat the oven! If you have kids around, they are really good at wrapping burritos for this cheesy ring. They don’t have to be perfect! Trust me, they all taste the same (and look alike) in the end. This is what makes the appetizer irresistible! Transfer the pie round plate to a large baking tray. Take out the center dipping bowl and put the burrito ring in the oven. The baking dish will help move the ring in and out of the oven and will catch any beans, cheese, or chicken that might spill while baking. The magic about this queso quesadilla cheese is that it melts to sticky perfection, however, it will retain the perfect spot for the same dipping bowl. While baking the cheese burrito ring, whip up some guacamole. Not a fan of the jack? Consider salsa or pico de gallo instead! You know what’s so good? Sour cream mixed with taco sauce and hot sauce (hush! This is an addicting secret sauce!). Once the burrito episode is over, serve the beautiful burrito instantly and watch everyone appreciate the delicious layers.
