Best Loaded Potato Chips

Loaded Potato Chips are one of the best appetizer or side dish recipes that literally everyone loves! Just like regular loaded potatoes, potato wedges are topped with melted cheese, bacon, and chives or green onions. You can eat them like french fries with your hands and dip them in sour cream. If you like ranch with bacon and potatoes, go for it! Loaded Potato Chips Everyone, including the most picky eater, absolutely loves these potatoes. Who doesn’t love melted cheddar cheese and crunchy bacon? It is very easy to make. Serve it as an appetizer for a party or as a side dish. It’s excellent on Super Bowl Sunday, too! Start by placing tin foil on top of a large baking tray. Prepare the chips with nonstick spray. Cut the potatoes into 1/2 -3/4 thick slices. Next, melt some butter and spread it generously on each slice. After the butter, season the potatoes with salt and pepper. If you prefer extra seasoning, you can also add Italian seasoning. However, I find salt and pepper to be perfect! Bake the potato slices for 30 minutes. Finally, sprinkle each potato slice with shredded cheese, cooked bacon crumbs, and chopped chives or green onions. Return the loaded potato chips to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to allow the cheese to melt. Serve immediately with sour cream and/or ranch dressing for dipping. Fridge Storage – Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 6 minutes or until completely heated through. Freezer – Baked potato chips freeze well! However, leave out the green onions. To reheat, bake at 325 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
