happy Halloween! I love DIY Halloween decorations and am so excited to share the directions for this Tomato Cage Ghost craft idea with you. This is the cutest and friendly caged tomato ghost ever! This project is super easy, inexpensive, and super cute! Tomato Cage Ghost If you don’t have the time to make some serious Halloween decorations for your home, here’s a really quick and easy project for you! Using a few simple materials, most of which you probably already own, you can assemble this ghost. It is more striking than many other ideas out there. Supplies needed to make a tomato ghost: a plastic pail of pumpkins, white paper, a tomato cage, black tape, black felt, or hot foam lights, tape, scissors, hot glue, begin by gluing the top of the tomato cage. These three prongs can get sharp, so it’s best to group them together to avoid injury and create more stability. Next, wrap and wrap white, yellow, or orange lights around the tomato cage. Secure the strand of lights in place with a small extra tape. Next, place a plastic gourd pail over the cage. You can use any color of the pumpkin pail. You can even pain the pail if you prefer. It’s cute to coordinate the color of the lights with the pumpkin pail. Whatever you do, just place the black part of the face at the back of the way you intend to display the tomato cage ghost. You don’t want to see the plastic face glow. How to Make Tomato Cage Ghosts After, place a white sheet of paper on top. I used a basic and not very expensive duplex sheet for this project. Whether it’s too big or just enough fabric, just play around with the flowy look and it will work no matter what 🙂 I used a steamer to reduce wrinkles in the fabric. Using an oversized ribbon (or whatever you have on hand), tie a nice big bow around the ghost’s “neck”. I found this black ribbon with purple and orange accents at Walmart. Love her! Consider getting creative with the ribbon… Use shiny ribbon, a ribbon with a pattern, or several bows to decorate the look. Finally, cut out some cute eyes and mouth to revive your adorable Tomato Cage ghost! I cut out two oval eyes and then glued two “eyelashes” on each side. I love how cute she turned out! is not it? What should we call it? Lots of people have called her by her name here on my Facebook page!
