Not a great pattern for beginners, but it’s definitely a show stopper, you’ll be amazed by this free pattern from Tilda’s World. It is an example of a new look for the old block. The finished quilt measures approximately 55″ x 70″ and contains many different parts. There are half Dresden blocks as well as all the leaves and stems. There is even a little decoration for the flower centers. They all come together to make these modern and fun flowers. The free downloadable pattern is easy to follow. Note that there is a lot of fabric used in this quilt, so it’s great for scrap quilts. Of course it only shines with fabrics from Tilda.
