An innovative mobile app called Timter was launched on February 25 – the first tool specifically developed to enable self-employed merchants to run their entire business via their smartphones. The typical trade professional could be free to spend four extra hours a week earning – potentially adding £ 6,000 or more to their annual income. The Timter is designed to empower British commercial professionals – from electricians to plumbers, carpenters, roofers, junior builders and more – to earn more without working harder and winning more work with an enhanced professional image and better control over their projects. It is the only business tool available to merchants that works entirely on a smartphone. It deals with most of the major aspects of running a business including job quotation, project planning, time tracking, product ordering, inventory management and billing. Timter can help trade professionals increase their profits and reduce costs by reducing inefficiencies and errors. Timter is the brainchild of Tony Short, an electrician with 30 years of experience based near Portsmouth. Tony founded Tradecraft Tools in 2017 with two colleagues – technology and design professionals – to develop a tool for transforming business performance for British trade professionals.
