Electricians’ first fully mobile business app launched – earning an additional £ 6,000 a year

An innovative mobile app called Timter was launched on February 25 – the first tool specifically developed to enable self-employed merchants to run their entire business via their smartphones. The typical trade professional could be free to spend four extra hours a week earning – potentially adding £ 6,000 or more to their annual income. The Timter is designed to empower British commercial professionals – from electricians to plumbers, carpenters, roofers, junior builders and more – to earn more without working harder and winning more work with an enhanced professional image and better control over their projects. It is the only business tool available to merchants that works entirely on a smartphone. It deals with most of the major aspects of running a business including job quotation, project planning, time tracking, product ordering, inventory management and billing. Timter can help trade professionals increase their profits and reduce costs by reducing inefficiencies and errors. For most people, full use of the app can save you at least four hours a week to spend on profitable projects. For a trader with an hourly fee of £ 35 and who works 45 weeks a year, this could add £ 6,300 to their annual income – a roughly 20% increase in average wages (as the Office for National Statistics figures indicate average salaries Merchants are around 30,000 pounds sterling). Additionally, the app can help business professionals save hundreds of pounds in product order errors, and it records billable additions as they appear on jobs to ensure they aren’t accidentally deleted in invoices. Timter is the brainchild of Tony Short, an electrician with 30 years of experience based near Portsmouth. Tony founded Tradecraft Tools in 2017 with two colleagues – technology and design professionals – to develop a tool for transforming business performance for British trade professionals. After three and a half years of research, development, and testing, the app is now ready for download via the Google Play app store and Apple. Tony Short explains: “I learned from my own experience that there has to be a more effective way to run a business. Everything you need to do is difficult to reconcile and there have been a lot of shortcomings in the way I have been working. Ordering and managing products is a waste of time. It’s hard to keep track of your inventory and projects, and papers are the bane of most merchants – eat their evenings and weekends. ”We developed Timter to tackle all of that – simplifying business processes and freeing people to increase their profits by doing more of what they are best at. Timter is the only tool specifically designed for the self-employed, and the only tool that lets you manage your entire business from the phone in your pocket – without having to turn on your computer after work. “We are excited to launch Timter after three years of intense development as an easy-to-use and versatile mobile business tool on the market.” Timter is available to use for free for a trial period of 45 days, after which people can continue to use it at no charge with limited features. Subscribing to the full product after 45 days will cost £ 30 a month, but Tradecraft Tools is offering a discounted price of £ 20 a month through February 2022 to help trade professionals recover from the impact of Covid-19. And with a one-year subscription at £ 200, users can actually get two months free. The company will also offer this discounted rate to newly established businesses after February 2022.
