Fish bowls stacked with seashells and starfish

It’s warm and beautiful this week! Our backyard pool has been completed and we can’t wait to enjoy the new outdoor space this summer. Yesterday I made this lovely coastal themed centerpiece made with stacked fish bowls and seashells. Little starfish is pressed into the sand at the bottom of fish bowls and candles, plus fairy lights, lending a subtle sea-themed glow in the evening! Just look at how beautiful this DIY decoration is! You’ll love how easy it is to make. Fish bowls stacked with seashells can be used as a party centerpiece, or as décor in your home. Love how good it is to look in the early evening outside by the new pool. We live near the beach in Orange County, California, but I know beach style decor is a favorite everywhere because it’s so gorgeous. These stacked fish dishes are tropical and elegant. Makes me want to jump on a plane and go to Hawaii! Where do you get the supplies to make a fishpot centerpiece? This is the second craft I have made for fish bowl, and I always find everything in my local craft store (Michaels). They will have filler sand, seashells, starfish, candles, and fairy lights. If you can’t find fish bowls at Michaels, consider pet supply store or Hobby Lobby. Amazon has it, too: Here’s the big 10-inch bowl and here’s the smaller 8-inch bowl from Amazon. The Dollar Store has smaller fish bowls, which will create a great centerpiece on a smaller scale. very fun! Get creative with the dishes you find. Make sure the top bowl is stacked on top of the larger bowl, and also make sure the decor you want in the lower bowl matches the smaller bowl on top. Got a big conch shell here at Michales. We have the hugely popular Fish Bowl Snowman for winter too. This craft includes a third bowl and a cute snowman hat. It’s just the most beautiful thing! I love DIY home decor projects that are easy, beautiful, and affordable, right?
