Summer is unofficially kicking off with Memorial Day weekend here and we’re super excited! What’s better than a warm sticky sable at night? Fudgecycle smores during the day! You (and neighborhood kids) will love this! Summer is my most favorite time of the year because the days are long and sunny! You can stay outside and have a campfire on the beach or you can jump in the pool first thing in the morning. Summer is made for fun and we love to live it! There are a few staples that everyone should enjoy during the summer. One thing you simply can’t do without is s’more! Fudgsicle S’mores Whether you’re camping or making a beaver in your own backyard, they epitomize summer and usually create memories filled with laughter and happiness. Today, however, we couldn’t wait for the sun to set or the BBQ burn… We wanted the awesome s’mores flavor now. You can use melted marshmallows or marshmallow fluff that are hot enough to drizzle over the chocolate lollipop. Next, break up the graham cracker square, as shown below. This helps the graham cracker stick to the marshmallow fluff! Use as many graham crackers as you like. Fudgsicle S’mores contains the flavors of fresh and cold chocolate mixed with gooey marshmallows and graham crackers! Honestly, it couldn’t be better than this on a warm day. Popsicles have always been the original treat of summer and we like to stock our garage fridge with all our favorites like orange, cherry and grape popsicles in the iconic yellow box. Popsicle Brand Ice pops have been bringing fun with bright colors, bold refreshing flavours, and icy cold since 1905. ^^^ Happy 6th Birthday to Mr. Smart Schoolhouse Jr.! ^^^ Try to prep all your items before you start. Put a few graham crackers inside a large bag and seal the top (remove the air from the bag). Tap them lightly with a hammer or meat tenderizer. Babies are really good at doing that lol! Have them get out of the house and do it on the sidewalk very gently. Just a few clicks will do the trick! Put 2 tablespoons of marshmallow fluff or a hand full of marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl. In 30-second intervals, heat marshmallows in the microwave until completely melted (two rounds usually work). If you are using regular marshmallows, add 1 to 2 teaspoons of water to dilute the marshmallow. Carefully remove the bowl from the microwave. Grab a candy bar and hold it in one hand over the sink. Scoop some melted marshmallow into a spoon and sprinkle it over the fudge. Quickly sprinkle some crushed graham crackers over the marshmallows. Hurry outside, show off your amazing creativity, and answer all the questions like, “Did you just do that?” and “Is this a frozen beaver?” Then gobble up the delicious chocolate, marshmallow and graham cracker on a stick (then jump in the pool if there’s one around).
