Halloween Patterns Dog Sweater Knitting – Knitting

Admittedly, this knitting pattern report is a bit of a niche, but if you have a dog, and your dog wears sweaters, why not knit a cool Halloween-themed sweater? A great occasion to get started, here are some super cute dog sweater knitting patterns for Halloween to get you inspired to sew something spooky for your dog. The Red Heart Candy Corn dog sweater makes me laugh out loud (Candy corn dog! Just me?) and is actually a great simple dog sweater that you can modify for other times of the year using different colors, even solid color or self-striped yarn. It uses a medium weight yarn and is available in four sizes. Another style that makes me laugh is the Skull Doggery, a skull and crossbones sweater from My Savannah Cottage. This one uses two-color worsted weight yarn (the skulls are striped) and has four sizes available. Find it on Etsy.Inspired by Mocha presents the creepy Ghost Dog Sweater, which features a black and white ghost on a different color background. This graphic also uses a color chart, comes in four sizes and is available from Etsy. Who wouldn’t want to dress up like Jack o’lantern? This cute dog sweater from Lion Brand Yarn lets you do just that. This thread uses extra bulky yarn and comes in two sizes. The linked page is for the set that includes the yarn but you can also download the free pattern from that page, admittedly the latter isn’t actually a jacket, but rather a type of Halloween costume for a dog. Called To Humiliate the Dog, the pattern is a simple knitted tube that Amoena originally designed to connect crocheted ears, but check out the pattern page on Ravelry to see how this design was used to humiliate dogs—and even cats! – In all kinds of fun ways.
