How to make an embroidered background on embroidery fabric – needlework

0

Got beads? I know I have dozens of them, all waiting patiently to use them on a project. Cedar Canyon Textiles has a great tutorial that shows how to add beading to your hand embroidery projects. It’s amazing what a little bling can do for a project, in their project they used trumpet beads, seed beads, O beads and some triangular beads. I love the way the beads mimic the design on the fabric. In the tutorial you’ll find instructions on how to sew beads to fabric and some additional design tips, I have beaded quilts, but never on embroidered fabric. This opens up a whole other field of possibilities in fabric design, if you’re interested in stepping up your hand embroidery work, you might want to try adding some beads to your next project.
