It was pure torture not being able to go to the beach! However, this year we have two places to enjoy our free time in the sun. Whether your toes in the sand, in the pool, or at the lake, this delicious summer drink recipe is for you! To serve up a delicious Malibu Bay Breeze cocktail, you’ll want to serve it in layers. This way, those who enjoy it can turn delicious flavors together as they like. There is an easy trick to create layers for drinks. Let me show you how! For this recipe, you need 3 ingredients: Malibu rum, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice. How to Make Layered Drinks with Naseem Malibu Bay Recipe Your drink layers are entirely dependent on the sugar content of the pineapple juice and cranberry juice. The juice that contains the most sugar goes to the bottom of the cup. In my case, I always buy a low-sugar cranberry juice. The lighter the sugar content, the lighter the weight, and thus it “floats” better in the upper part of the glass. The trick is to pour the juice slowly. Once poured, the colors will mix very quickly (but eventually separate based on sugar content). To create the perfect looking Malibu Bay Breeze, slowly pour cranberry juice (or juice with less sugar) on the back of the spoon. This creates beautifully layers based on slow and evenly distributed pouring based on the sugar content. Serve with lots of ice and a slice of lemon. Enjoy !!! You can serve this straight (without ice) or on the rocks (with ice) The glass doesn’t matter. This is up to you. Slices of lemon, orange, and pineapple all go well. Even cherries work here, too. If you hate the taste of rum, replace it with coconut-flavored vodka if it’s not sweet enough, consider adding a dash of grenadine.
