Don’t worry, it won’t. It costs you nothing. If you have kids, you know that from ages 0 to 12, time seems to pass slowly and it seems like they’ll be there hovering around you forever. But something crazy happens between the ages of 12-18. Time is speeding up, and before you even close your eyes, the little boy with freckles and big teeth has become a man. This year marks my second high school graduation and after a tough year with the pandemic, it’s time to celebrate. And although he didn’t want to get out of it much, I wanted to throw a quick party with his best friend. Thank you to Staples Print and Marketing for sponsoring this post. I used their convenient print center at my local Staples store to throw this quick party. Here are some graduation party ideas to celebrate their coming of age in a style that can be applied to any party. Since I’m usually a last minute planner, I’ve found that I can organize a quick party with a few of my favorite things. Throw a banner and you’ll have a party. It’s all in the signs, my son didn’t want a big hustle for his graduation, just a fun break with his best friend. But you know moms, we have to deal with this. Want to know a tried and true party trick? Signs. It’s the easiest way to make a big impression. This was perfect for the front door so all our neighbors and friends could congratulate the new graduate. (He loves when I embarrass him.) And I did it in less than a day with Staples – the easiest thing ever. I just uploaded my design when the kids were in bed and picked it up at my local Staples store the next day. And if you don’t want to bother with the online process, going to your local Staples to make a sign there is easy. In fact, you could go to any Staples store and ask, “Hey, can you print {insert project} for me?” Their talented colleagues will help you there. (While I was there, a lady did just that. She said, “I want to make a poster for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary…” and it was great to see how quickly her project came to life. I can’t rave enough – signs are the easiest way to make a professional impression! PRINT Your banners at Staples are quick, easy and extremely affordable.
