Space constraints are ideal for the PC88MR-11 Low Radius and Tail Swinging Excavator from Komatsu America. The swing boom design also allows for parallel drilling of buildings or parapets. Powered by a 67.7hp Komatsu engine, the machine has up to 13% less fuel consumption compared to its predecessor PC88MR-10. A catalytic system removes soot without a diesel particulate filter. The PC88MR-11 has six working modes to help you adapt the machine’s motor output to the task. Komatsu says productivity increased by up to 9% in P (power) mode and up to 2% in E mode, or eco mode. The machine has a faster lift / swing speed, along with a more responsive boom speed, says Komatsu. The standard auxiliary circuit now has up to 12% more hydraulic flow than its predecessor. The climate-controlled cabin features an air suspension seat, Bluetooth radio, USB port and HD screen with standard rear view camera. Operators can exit easily with the sliding cab door. LED lights are standard equipment, and larger service doors provide easier access to service points at ground level. The auxiliary hydraulic circuit return filter and windshield washer tank have been repositioned for easy maintenance access. Additionally, the fuel tank filter port now has a new closed fuel tank cap.
