The Olympics take place over the next two weeks and provide a great opportunity to sneak in some learning about other countries, it is always fun to watch the nations parade during the opening ceremony and see the different flags and the number of athletes. Each country represents You can help children identify some of those flags with printable flag cards from Books and Giggles. The flags here represent the top 15 countries with medals won, so if you’re watching events and see a medal ceremony, you’ll probably be able to match the flag to the ones on the platform. Games to match the flag with the name of the country (there are labeled and unlabeled options) or add a geographic element and stick the flag of the country on the map.
