Everything seems to revolve around skincare these days and I love that the skincare we’re into is a trend right now! I mentioned in a previous post that I’ve formally studied DIY formula and recently enrolled in a school for an actual degree formulating different skin and hair products. While it’s easy to assemble some products with simple kitchen tools and ingredients, others take more thought, planning, and experimentation to get the look right. It’s the experimental part that really makes me love making new products. One of my favorite ways to take care of my skin is to use a DIY face serum which keeps my skin hydrated, healthy and glowing. By the way, face serums were one of the first products I learned to make as part of my formulation education. It’s easy to make, you don’t need many ingredients or hardly any equipment at all, and it’s easily customizable to your unique skin needs. Today, I’m going to help you craft your own facial serum =) Ingredients/Tools Favorite carrier oil(s) – More on this in 1 minute Select essential oils – More on this in a minute Also 30ml Glass dropper bottle Tablespoon to measure How to measure 1 scoop Large each of carrier oils (if using two) – if you are using only 1, measure 2 tablespoons and place in an empty glass dropper bottle, choose the essential oils and add them Total 9 drops of carrier oils Close the dropper bottle tightly and roll it in your hands to mix all components well. Take care of yourself and as always happy crafting! -Angie
