Outdoor natural winter holiday decor

0

Decorating our outdoors for the holidays is our number one this year, and I couldn’t be more enthusiastic! This festive space combined easily with wreaths, trees, Christmas lights, and front porch essentials from The Home Depot. Let’s take a look at all the details and I’ll include styling tips along the way. Next, I’ll be sharing some night pics so you can all see it shine! Mixed greenery for a natural look One of my favorite elements of holiday decor is all the greenery! I decided to keep things simple with a gorgeous mixed pine wreath and two artificial trees. They capture the natural winter forest look they love without maintenance, and will last for years to come! The pretty wreath includes battery-operated lights to give our balcony an evening’s magical glow, and their generous size fills the door. Tip: When it comes to scale, be sure to choose pieces large enough to make a statement. These 4-foot trees are pre-lit too! I placed them inside galvanized resin planters for added texture. Front Porch Essentials To fill in this festive entryway, I’ve added some front porch essentials! Home Depot has many great options to choose from. First, I used two rugs to get the layered look. I love this indoor / outdoor geometric rug for extra texture, and the gentle coir mop for the functions. Both of them will face the elements of winter. Second, I added these cute copper lanterns for warmth and sparkle! Here they are all together so you can see the sizes. This set of three LED candles is the perfect match. Tip: Decorate with pieces of varying heights and materials of varying interest. Winter Wonderland For a touch of fun, I have included this 5-foot LED snowman! My kids love it and it was very easy to set up. For more of the magic of this winter wonderland, we have hung ice lights along our roof. You will get a better look in night photos! Tip: Check out these lighting clips to connect lights to shingles or gutter. Exterior decor for a natural winter wonderland Here are some additional photos of the completed space! Which piece is your favorite? It’s so hard to pick my favorites, but the mixed green wreath is definitely one for me! I can’t wait to see this space covered in thin snow. Now, let’s take a night look. Holiday Sparkle There’s nothing like this magical, nightly glow when it comes to outdoor holiday decor. I have a lot of fun designing and designing this outdoor winter wonderland this season and I hope you are inspiring! Home Depot has everything you need to decorate the holidays. Find these and other festive items online and in the store! For more home inspiration, I’d like to visit me at Caitlin Marie Design. May your season be happy and bright!
