To make it easier to recommend to customers, Resideo has scaled down its range of Honeywell Home T6 smart thermostats. The range, which previously consisted of four SKU options, is now available in two easy-to-select models: the wall-mounted T6R and the table-mount T6R. The two models will continue to offer intelligent automated control to help users save energy. Both are compatible with any boiler and any system, including combination boilers, OpenTherm and heat pumps, and work with smart home devices. A “dual-relay” wireless receiver for controlling central heating, hot water or two heating zones, 1 comes with both versions, as well as geo-fencing – a feature that enables customers to adjust their home heating based on their location. The only difference between the two models is that the wall-mounted version needs to be wired to a 230V AC source, while the table-mount model is connected to a power source via a cable. Martin Wilson, Resideo Sales Director says, “By changing the range from four different options to two, we are making it easier for installers to sell benefits to customers, and customers to choose the right thermostat that best suits their needs.
