STEM Relay Race with an Olympic Twist – Lesson Plans

0

This is an idea that uses the Olympics as a theme to get kids creative and moving but it doesn’t have to be an Olympic theme if you don’t want to. A twist where kids build towers from recyclable materials (you can also use blocks or a combination of materials). They can compete to see who makes the tallest tower, and then see who can tear down first. There are a lot of things you can add to this project, from having the kids paint the Olympic rings on the backboard to being where they build. A tower, to have children, they have to run to a pile of materials to find what they need to make their tower. Check out her post for more details.[Photo: Mosswood Connections.]
