Wonderful cookies made with sugar paste

Our adorable little cookies are fun to make and fun to eat! These Baker’s Twine Sugar Cookies look impressive, however, and are surprisingly easy to bake. We love baking cookies here at Smart School House, and these are definitely some of the best cookies we’ve ever made. These cookies are great for a number of different events. We originally made it for Christmas. Who does not like sugar cookies during the holidays? However, they are very cute for new born baby shower and birthdays too! We made a TikTok video for you to show you the tricks of how to make it. Check this out: @ smartschoolhouse How to Make Button Cookies! Leave it to Santa! 🎄🎁 ## cookies ## creatorsoftiktok ## christmascookies ## baking ## kidsactivites ## recipe ♬ I can feel it (Christmas machines) – Nick Sina and Danny Echevaria start by rolling out some sugar paper cookie dough linoleum. We used pre-made dough but it is completely optional. Sometimes we use homemade sugar paste. To make the cookies on the button perfectly round and small, use a glass cup as a cookie cutter. You will need a glass cup in the shape of the glass shown in the video above (which is a very typical shape). Once the cookies are baked, use the bottom of the glass to press the center of the cookies down. Finally, use a straw to make two cookie holes. It’s easiest to do this right when the cookies are out of the oven. Once cool, use thin tape or string to tie the cookies together! Very cute 🙂 A few readers suggested using the edible licorice chain to tie cookies together. This is a great idea, too!
